Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements.
• BSN preferred.
• Current CPR certification required especially for emergency readiness.
• Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent care to unit-specific patient population and acts as a clinical resource for team members.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care addressing patient/family needs.
• Accounts to patients, families, peers, and nurse manager for care processes and outcomes.
• Serves as a primary coordinating nurse and supports evidence-based practice on the unit.
