Job summary

Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking an experienced MICU RN to provide critical care nursing for highly acute patients. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Requirements include a BSN, 1+ year MICU/CCU experience, and NY RN license; BLS is required and CCRN is preferred. This role is based in New York with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of MICU or other critical care experience
• Experience reading cardiac monitors
• BSN required; ADN considered if enrolled in BSN program
• New York RN license & registration
• BLS required, CCRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, administer medications, document progress and manage care for highly acute MICU patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Advocate for patients and families through safety, education and emotional support
