Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MICU at Baptist Medical Center South. The RN will coordinate nursing staff on the 7A shift, ensure continuity of care, and collaborate with physicians to implement patient care plans.

Qualifications include a nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area. This is a full-time position with weekday shifts and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care.
