Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse for the MICU on the third shift at Baptist Medical Center South. You will supervise nursing staff on shift and coordinate patient care to ensure quality and continuity.

Active RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN is preferred. Depending on unit, ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC certifications may be needed. You will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and intervention.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active RN licensure is required; BLS is required.
• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and implementation.
• May carry additional duties within the scope of the role.
