Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will manage shift operations, provide clinical care as needed, and communicate care needs and staff concerns to leadership.

A sign-on bonus is available for this position. Qualified candidates will have completed a nursing program with licensure in Georgia; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and relevant certifications may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during their shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
