Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Associate Nurse Manager (RN) for the MICU to assist the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers and to promote a collaborative, patient-centered environment. BSN is required, and an MSN or related field is preferred with an Ohio RN license and 2–3 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN or related field preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Two to three years of clinical experience in patient care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations in MICU (24-hour basis).
• Coach, supervise and evaluate the work of nursing staff under Nurse Manager guidance.
• Collaborate with related departments to improve patient care outcomes and efficiency.
