Aviat Networks in Orlando seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of microwave backhaul infrastructure for wireless networks. You will coordinate field construction, manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and safety.

The role requires hands-on experience with site builds, rooftop installations, permits, and contractor oversight, plus strong communication to keep carriers and stakeholders aligned. Travel up to 15% across Central to East US.

• Knowledge of Microwave installation requirements and project management fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end microwave construction projects including site builds, upgrades, modifications, and wireless broadband.
• Oversee rooftop installation of microwave equipment, antennas, coax, mounts, shelters, cabinets, fiber connections, grounding systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate construction activities across carriers, municipalities, utilities, engineering teams, tower crews, and subcontractors.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, structural reports, RF designs, path studies, and engineering packages.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Ensure compliance with carrier standards, municipal permitting requirements, zoning regulations, environmental restrictions, and safety protocols.
• Track permitting status, inspections, closeout documentation, and turnover packages.
• Lead project closeout efforts including final inspections, punch completion, turnover packages, and client acceptance.
