Rainier Recruiting seeks a CAD/CNC Engineer with Microvellum experience to lead the fabrication documentation for cabinet and millwork projects. You will interpret architectural drawings, build 2D construction drawings in AutoCAD, and produce BOMs and cut lists for production.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong CNC/G-code troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with shop floor teams to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Willing to consider some remote work to candidates with a proven track record of working from home with Microvellum Experience – This would be a hybrid remote role and you would still need to come into the office a few days a week.
This role will be pivotal in the manufacturing, engineering, and management of multiple projects simultaneously from contract agreement until the job is complete, especially regarding engineering cabinets/fixtures for production using Microvellum.
This position will be responsible for interpreting architectural drawings and applying their casework and millwork experience to produce CNC Code and documentation required for production. This role may expand to include creating detailed shop drawings for submittal. A successful engineer is creative and will find ways to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and on time. While the ideal employee is proud to be “right a lot” in his/her work, he/she is not too proud to ask a teammate for help as the ideal candidate understands that individual success is essential to the team’s overall success. This role will require signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
