Job summary

A healthcare organization in Austin, Texas is seeking a Microvascular Plastic Surgery Physician to support trauma care in a Level II trauma center. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible with fellowship training in microvascular or reconstructive surgery. Qualifications

• Candidates should have at least 300+ free flaps during training.
• 50% outpatient/elective breast reconstruction and 50% trauma plastics inpatient/outpatient.

Responsibilities

• Support trauma micro hand/plastics call in a Level II trauma center.
• Build a reconstructive hospital practice and outpatient cosmetic aesthetics practice.
• Participate in trauma plastic call and micro hand call.

Skills

Board certified/board eligible plastic surgeon

Fellowship training in microvascular/reconstructive surgery

Breast reconstructive plastic surgery with DIEP flap experience

300+ free flaps during training

Experience in outpatient/elective breast reconstruction

Education

Licensed in the state of Texas
