Job summary

The University of Washington, Division of Plastic Surgery, invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, without tenure. The successful candidate will contribute to clinical practice, teaching, and research in a collaborative environment across Montlake Campus and affiliated sites.

Clinical focus includes breast reconstruction and microsurgical oncologic reconstruction with opportunities to develop subspecialties.

Qualifications

• MD degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery residency program
• Fellowship in Microsurgery or 3 years of equivalent experience
• Record of scientific investigation with publications/funding
• Board eligibility by the American Board of Surgery and USMLE steps completed

Responsibilities

• Support department's commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Develop and grow clinical and research interests in plastic surgery
• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams across UW sites
