Job summary

- MicroStrategy Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level BI data architecture and solutions using MicroStrategy tools and technologies, data modeling and warehousing concepts, and SQL programming.
- Build and maintain the schema objects and abstraction layer
- Create, publish, and optimize a data layer
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize KPIs and metrics, including maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise
- Refactor reports developed using other tools to be scheduled, generated, and published using MicroStrategy server.
- Modify existing reports and/or develop new reports by analyzing databases, data sources, and structures for the benefit of Users.
- Optimize SQL queries and database structures for performance and scalability, including identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing database indexes, and tuning SQL queries
- Utilize data warehouse concepts including Star/Snowflake, Normalization, and Slowly Changing Dimensions.
