Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States, Phoenix is seeking an experienced MicroStrategy BI specialist to design and implement advanced BI solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable dashboards and reports, and optimize performance across the MicroStrategy platform.

You will mentor team members, enforce development standards, and coordinate deployments while working with ETL, database, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality BI

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in BI/analytics.
• Expertise in MicroStrategy and Arcadia.
• Strong SQL tuning and performance optimization.
• Experience with MicroStrategy metadata, cubes, and reports.
• Platform administration and security experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of MicroStrategy BI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Design and optimize MicroStrategy metadata, schemas, and metrics.
• Monitor and improve report performance through SQL tuning and caching.
• Administer MicroStrategy platform including security and deployments.
• Provide technical leadership via code reviews and best practices.
• Coordinate deployments, production support, and RCA for stability.
• Work with ETL, database, and infrastructure teams to deliver BI solutions.

Role - MicroStrategy

Experience Required - 7+ Years

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

BI Platforms: MicroStrategy and Arcadia

BI Platform Administration: MicroStrategy Suite (Workstation, Developer, Web, Object Manager, Command Manager, Integrity manager, System Manager, Narrowcast server)

ETL Tools: Azure Data Factory

Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Big Data

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of MicroStrategy BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and dossiers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and optimize MicroStrategy metadata, schema objects, metrics, filters, prompts, and Intelligent Cubes.
• Monitor and improve report performance through SQL tuning, VLDB settings, caching strategies, and query optimization.
• Manage MicroStrategy platform administration, including security, user access, object migration, scheduling, and environment support.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and enforcing development standards and best practices.
• Coordinate deployments, production support, issue resolution, and root cause analysis to ensure platform stability and reliability.
• Work closely with ETL, database, and infrastructure teams to integrate enterprise data sources and deliver high-quality BI solutions

Base Salary Range : $100,000 to $125,000 Per Annum
