Job description

Gather business requirements, elicit technical requirements, prepare report specifications.

1. Develop reports, cubes, dashboards, scorecards.
2. Design and develop MicroStrategy reports and integrate with enterprise portals and mobile platforms. Implement write-back to source data based on business analysis, and set up alerts via email and mobile devices based on predefined events.
3. Working knowledge of some RDBMS.
4. Identify and design common functionalities.
5. Perform unit and integration testing of developed components.
6. Promote components across development, testing, and production environments.
7. Provide UAT and implementation support.

Requirements:

• Experience Level: 6-7 years in MicroStrategy development and maintenance.
• Lead MicroStrategy development team.
• Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy 9.3, enterprise portal and mobile integration, write-back, and alert setup.
• Good understanding of metadata creation, report specifications, testing, UAT, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, review processes, and release management.
• Excellent communication skills and client interaction experience.
• Ability to interpret data models and use data modeling tools like ERWIN.
• Knowledge of new product features and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and analytical skills.
• Experience working with onsite-offshore teams.
