Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking a strong Oracle DBA with broad experience in production database administration, performance tuning, high availability, backups and recovery. The role supports mission critical enterprise applications and may involve Java/.NET components and scripting for automation.

Key responsibilities include RAC/Data Guard and RMAN activities, monitoring, trouble shooting, and collaboration with DevOps and production teams to ensure stability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong Hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA with extensive enterprise production environments.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database RAC Data Guard ASM RMAN OEM and database performance tuning.
• Excellent understanding of SQL PLSQL query optimization indexing execution plans backup and recovery.
• Experience with troubleshooting database performance and production issues.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
• Experience working with high availability and disaster recovery environments.

Responsibilities

• Install configure administer patch and upgrade Oracle databases across production and nonproduction environments.
• Perform SQL database performance tuning query optimization indexing execution plan analysis and capacity management.
• Manage Oracle RAC Data Guard ASM RMAN backup recovery database cloning and disaster recovery activities.
• Monitor database health troubleshoots production incidents and performs root cause analysis.
• Ensure database availability security integrity and performance for mission critical applications.
• Support database migrations upgrade patching refreshes and release deployment activities.
• Automate routine DBA activities using Shell Python scripting where applicable.
• Collaborate with application infrastructure DevOps and production support teams.

JavaJ2EE knowledge with the ability to understand Java based enterprise applications and troubleshoot application database integration issues

Experience with Spring Boot JDBC connection pooling REST APIs or Java application support

Exposure to CICD DevOps cloud platforms and database automation

Prior experience in banking or financial services is preferred
