Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Implementation & Data Migration Specialist to support the successful deployment and transition of enterprise systems and data within a Microsoft-based technology modernization initiative for a U.S. Government Agency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing end-to-end data migrations, legacy system transitions, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute data migration strategy from legacy campaign finance systems to Microsoft Dataverse
• Participate in solution configuration across Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and related Azure-based components
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Architect and Development teams to define and validate data mappings, cleansing rules, and ETL procedures
• Develop migration scripts, perform data validation, and support mock and final cutover exercises
• Support the configuration and testing of user-facing components and integrations tied to historical data sets
• Work with business analysts and end users to ensure migrated data supports business processes
• Create and maintain documentation for repeatable migration processes

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution implementation and data migration
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Dataverse
• Strong knowledge of data migration tools, ETL processes, and scripting using PowerShell or similar
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure components, including Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its data model
• Understanding of legacy system migration practices, especially in government or regulatory environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
