Job summary

Apidel Technologies is seeking a senior data governance professional to lead production-level Microsoft Purview implementations in a US-based environment. You will design and deploy Purview architectures, manage data cataloging, lineage, and classification, and ensure data quality across Azure data services.

The role requires 8+ years in data engineering/BI, 3+ years in data governance, and strong client-facing communication to drive governance outcomes with stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced professional with hands-on, production-level Microsoft Purview implementation experience to join our team!

Key Requirements:

• Mandatory experience in end-to-end, production-level Microsoft Purview implementation.
• 8+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering, BI, or Data Management.
• 3+ years of relevant Data Governance experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Purview implementation, architecture, and configuration.
• Experience with data cataloging, data lineage, data classification, governance, and data quality.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data platforms and services.

SQL Server

• Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud data governance environments.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Flexibility to work during late hours, up to 11:30 PM12:30 AM IST.

Preferred Profile:

Candidates who have successfully delivered end-to-end Microsoft Purview implementations in a production environment.
