Job summary

R Systems in Sacramento, CA is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Apps / Power Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain business applications using Power Platform and Azure services. You will create Canvas Apps, manage Dataverse data, and implement workflows that automate processes.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Canvas Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Azure SQL, and REST APIs, plus experience delivering software engineering services to public sector agencies.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, particularly Canvas Apps.

• Proficiency in Power Automate cloud flows and workflow automation.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and SQL queries.

• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, and access management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, connectors, and data integration.
• Minimum of three years of experience providing software engineering services to a State department, federal, state, local or public agency.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience developing Canvas Apps, configuring Dataverse, automating business processes, and integrating applications with Azure services.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, particularly Canvas Apps.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, security, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Power Automate cloud flows and workflow automation.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps and system‑to‑system integration.
• Experience with Azure Blob Storage and JSON file handling.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, and access management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, connectors, and data integration.
• The SE 1 must have a minimum of three years of experience providing software engineering services to a State department, federal, state, local or public agency.

Desired Qualifications:

• Two or more consecutive years of experience in the last 10 years providing software engineering consultative services to a State department using Agile methodology.
