Job Title: Microsoft Power Apps Developer
Clearance Required: Public Trust - Federal Client requires US Citizenship Work Location: Remote, Arlington, VA


Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Microsoft Power Apps Developer for a remote position on a Federal program in Alexandria, Virginia.


The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that streamline processes and improve productivity.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and other components of the Power Platform.

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Integrate Power Apps with various data sources, including Azure Data Lake and SQL Database, Office 365.

  • Implement and maintain application security, data validation, and user access controls.

  • Create and manage workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes.

  • Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure optimal performance.

  • Provide training and support to end-users and create documentation for applications.

  • Stay informed about Power Platform updates and best practices to enhance the development process.


Required Qualifications:


Education:



  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or similar.


Experience/Skills:



  • Proven experience as a Power Apps Developer or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Proficiency in using connectors and APIs to integrate various data sources.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly SharePoint and Dynamics 365.

  • Experience with data modeling and management in the context of Power Apps.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience working across all pillars of Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Microsoft certifications related to Power Apps or the Power Platform.

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom app development.

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.



Salary and Benefit Information:


The likely salary range for this position is $117,282 - $145,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
