We are seeking an experienced AX 2012 resource to join our team and support the ongoing operations of a large-scale enterprise while assisting in the migration of key financial processes to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuity, system stability, and successful transition to modern cloud ERP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, focusing on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) modules.
- Collaborate with the Dynamics 365 Finance team to migrate business processes from AX 2012.
- Identify gaps between AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 Finance and participate in solution design discussions.
- Work with business users, BAs, developers, and testers in an Agile environment.
- Support data cleansing, reconciliation, and validation during migration.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and suggest corrective actions.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos within Agile practices.
Your Skills and Experience
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, especially in finance modules.
- Strong understanding of AR and AP processes, including invoicing, vendor payments, customer settlements, and aging reports.
- Experience supporting large enterprise ERP systems or transformation projects.
- Involvement in ERP migration projects, preferably to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Knowledge of integration processes and tools between AX and external systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Knowledge of industry-specific compliance (e.g., PBS, TGA, HIPAA).
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance.
