The ideal candidate has deep D365 F&SCM experience, broad ERP transformation expertise, and strong stakeholder communication skills to drive a strategic roadmap and multi-country rollout.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of ERP and enterprise solution architecture experience.
• 10+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management experience.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Inventory & Distribution.
• Experience with global ERP templates and multi-country implementations/rollouts.
• Cloud-based enterprise architectures and integration expertise.
• Experience leading workshops with senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business terms.
• Consumer Products / CPG / FMCG industry experience is highly preferred.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect to lead an assessment of North America's adoption of an existing global Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM)

The architect will evaluate business process fit, solution architecture, scalability, data and integration alignment, and configuration versus customization requirements. The role will work closely with business and IT stakeholders and provide recommendations that support the development of an executive‑level business case, implementation roadmap, and investment plan.

The ideal candidate will bring deep D365 F&SCM architecture experience, strong business process knowledge, global ERP transformation experience, and the ability to lead senior stakeholder discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Global D365 Template & Architecture Assessment

• Review the existing global Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM template, architecture, and deployment approach.
• Assess the North American application landscape, integrations, and technology dependencies.
• Evaluate alignment with the organization’s global technology and data strategy.
• Assess the scalability of the D365 solution to support current and future business growth.
• Identify key architecture gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.

Business Process Fit Assessment

• Lead business and technical workshops with stakeholders across: Finance , Supply Chain Sales, Procurement , Inventory & Distribution
• Assess North American business processes against standard D365 capabilities and the global template.
• Identify process gaps, localization requirements, and industry‑specific requirements.
• Recommend opportunities to adopt standard D365 functionality and minimize unnecessary customization.
• Identify required integrations, extensions, ISV solutions, and reporting capabilities.
• Evaluate the impact of data architecture and platform dependencies.
• Assess architecture considerations related to AI, Microsoft Copilot, and agent‑based solutions.
• Develop target‑state solution architecture and recommendations.
• Provide guidance on scalability, maintainability, security, and long‑term solution viability.

Executive Advisory & Business Case Support

• Present assessment findings, recommendations, and key decisions to business and IT leadership.
• Translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
• Support development of the implementation roadmap, including: Key phases Dependencies, Risks ,Assumptions, Resource considerations &High-level investment estimates
• Contribute to the executive business case and materials required for the November budgeting cycle.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in ERP and enterprise solution architecture.
• 10+ years of hands‑on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM) experience.
• Strong understanding of: Finance , Supply Chain, Sales , Procurement , Inventory &Distribution.
• Proven experience with global ERP templates and multi‑country implementations/rollouts.
• Strong experience designing and assessing cloud‑based enterprise architectures.
• Experience evaluating D365 standard functionality, configurations, customizations, integrations, and extensions.
• Experience leading business and technical workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.
• Consumer Products / CPG / FMCG industry experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with large‑scale D365 transformation and template adoption programs.
• Experience working with North American business and regulatory/localization requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Dataverse, and integration technologies.
• Experience assessing AI, Copilot, and agent‑based capabilities within enterprise architecture.
• Experience developing executive‑level business cases and transformation roadmaps.
