Job summary

Skywinds Solutions is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer in the United States to lead development of BC extensions, integrations, and customizations.

You will collaborate with functional consultants, participate in deployments, and use Visual Studio Code, Git, and Azure DevOps to deliver robust solutions across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory. A Bachelor's degree and BC certification are preferred. Knowledge of SQL Server and API integrations is also beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong AL programming skills and BC architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop BC extensions, customizations, APIs, and web services.

• Collaborate with consultants to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and support.
• Use VS Code, Git, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.


• Strong expertise in AL development, with working knowledge of C/AL and Business Central upgrade paths.


• Design, develop, and maintain Business Central extensions, customizations, APIs, web services, and integrations.


• Work with core Business Central modules, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory.


• Collaborate with functional consultants and customers to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.


• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and support activities.


• Use Visual Studio Code, Git, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative development environment.


• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver solutions independently.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer.


• Proficiency in AL programming and development using Visual Studio Code.


• Strong knowledge of Business Central architecture, data model, and customization techniques.


• Experience with integrations using APIs, web services, data connectors, and eCommerce platforms.


• Good understanding of SQL Server, including query writing and optimization.


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate).


• Understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based solutions.


• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and DevOps best practices.


• Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques.


• Exposure to other Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications is an added advantage.


• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is preferred.
