Job summary

Techgene Solutions is seeking a mid to senior-level Microsoft Copilot Governance Consultant. The remote role focuses on governance across Copilot, Power Platform, Purview, and M365, with hands-on governance in live production environments.

You will lead workshops, define governance frameworks, and drive secure AI adoption, collaborating with security teams, admins, and executives to establish mature governance practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Microsoft platform experience, including 2+ years in Copilot, Copilot Studio, Purview, or Power Platform governance.
• Hands-on experience governing Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, SharePoint agents, and Agent 365.
• Experience managing agent intake, approvals, publishing, ownership, monitoring, and retirement.
• Expertise in DLP policies, connectors, knowledge sources, channels, HTTP requests, and publishing controls.
• Strong knowledge of sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, auditing, information protection, and DSPM for AI.
• Experience conducting data readiness and oversharing assessments across SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Expertise in Managed Environments, PPAC, environment strategy, security roles, and DLP policies.
• Experience with Power Platform Pipelines, Azure DevOps, approval gates, and deployment processes.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, least-privilege access, Azure Policy, and 365 governance.
• Experience implementing AI Centers of Excellence (CoE), monitoring and reporting frameworks, escalation workflows, and governance maturity assessments.
• Ability to lead client workshops, discovery sessions, knowledge transfer, and governance training with admins, security teams, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Govern Microsoft Copilot governance across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Agent 365.
• Oversee agent lifecycle governance: intake, approvals, publishing, ownership, monitoring, retirement.
• Define and implement DLP policies, connectors, knowledge sources, channels, HTTP requests, and publishing controls.
• Establish AI governance CoE frameworks, monitoring, escalation workflows, and maturity assessments.
• Collaborate with clients in workshops and discovery sessions; transfer knowledge to admin and security teams.
