JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Architect to join our team, specializing in the deployment and management of Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint. This role requires hands-on experience with the full O365 suite and a strong background in architecting solutions within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to design, deploy, and manage Microsoft solutions while ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 solutions within a healthcare environment.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of O365 suite components, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Provide expert guidance on O365 best practices, including Exchange migration, Teams collaboration setup, and SharePoint document management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate O365 tools into existing IT infrastructure and workflows.
- Manage end-to-end deployment processes, including planning, execution, and post-deployment support.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations such as HIPAA when implementing and managing O365 solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff and teams during implementation and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for O365 deployment, configuration, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective O365 solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Architect with a focus on Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange migrations, Teams integrations, and SharePoint solutions.
- Strong understanding of O365 suite components and their application in a healthcare environment.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT environments, including compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare-specific regulations.
- Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Office 365 Certified Expert, are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
