Job summary

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants is seeking a Microsoft 365 System Administrator to join the MIS team in Arlington, Virginia.

The role centers on supporting Microsoft 365 cloud services, managing employee devices with Intune, and delivering Level 2 IT support across head office, field offices, and remote workers. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Windows systems, and general IT administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in IT support, Microsoft 365 administration, or systems administration.
• Experience configuring and deploying computers.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a small IT team.
• On-site, full-time work at USCRI's Arlington headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, and access permissions.
• Support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
• Configure and manage Windows and mobile devices using Intune MDM.
• Manage endpoint security settings, Defender, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
• Assist with MFA, endpoint compliance, and Defender configurations.
• Provide Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• On-site and remote IT support for headquarters and field offices.
• Deploy laptops/desktops and manage IT inventory.
• Support conference room AV equipment and room technology.
