Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a seasoned SharePoint Administrator in a hybrid Chicago role. You will administer and enhance SharePoint Online environments, develop low-code Power Platform solutions, and deliver automated workflows to improve governance, reporting, and employee experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SharePoint Online, strong Power Automate and Power Apps skills, and solid MS 365 integration knowledge. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 5+ years administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Heads-on with Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions.
  • Strong governance, site architecture, metadata and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with MS 365 integrations including Teams, Outlook, Forms and Power BI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Online sites, permissions, libraries, and content structures.
  • Design, develop, and support modern SharePoint sites, pages, and intranet solutions.
  • Implement governance standards and information architecture.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide end-user support.
  • Design, build, and support automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Develop Power Apps and integrate with Power BI dashboards where applicable.

This role will be responsible for administering and enhancing SharePoint Online environments, developing low-code solutions using Power Platform, and delivering automated workflows that improve operational efficiency, governance, reporting, and employee experience.The successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, streamline processes, and build scalable digital solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesSharePoint Administration & DevelopmentAdminister and maintain SharePoint Online sites, permissions, libraries, lists, and content structures.Design, develop, and support modern SharePoint sites, pages, and intranet solutions.Implement governance standards, information architecture, metadata, and content lifecycle management.Troubleshoot SharePoint issues and provide end-user support.Power Automate & Process AutomationDesign, build, and support automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.Develop approval workflows, notifications, task management solutions, and reporting automations.Monitor, maintain, and optimize existing automation solutions.Power Platform SolutionsBuild and enhance Power Apps solutions as required.Integrate SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams, Outlook, Forms, and other Microsoft 365 services.Support dashboard and reporting initiatives through Power BI integration where applicable.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.Hands-on experience developing Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions.Strong understanding of SharePoint lists, libraries, permissions, site architecture, and governance.Experience with Microsoft 365 integrations including Teams, Outlook, Forms, and Power BI.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Salary :$102,000.00 - $190,000.00Pay Type:SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
