Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an Associate to design, deploy and advise on Microsoft 365 security solutions for clients. You will work across Defender XDR, Entra ID, Intune and Purview in hybrid and cloud environments, leading technical conversations and translating security frameworks into practical configurations.

You will own tasks from discovery through handoff, speak confidently about security posture, and collaborate with client IT and security stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT or security, preferably Microsoft environments.
• Experience with Defender XDR, Entra ID, Purview, or Intune is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-facing Microsoft 365 security solutions across Defender XDR, Entra ID, Intune, and Purview.
• Design and implement Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, MFA, and identity protection policies.
• Build data protection controls in Purview: labels, DLP, retention, insider risk policies.
• Support hybrid scenarios (Entra Connect, AD, Group Policy, Exchange).
• Run assessments, produce findings, and develop roadmaps.
• Automate configuration/reporting with PowerShell and Graph.
