Job summary

Summit Tech Partners in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 / Exchange Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise messaging, collaboration, and AI-driven productivity solutions.

This role focuses on managing Microsoft 365 environments, Exchange Online and Hybrid deployments, email security platforms, and advancing Copilot and Azure AI Foundry initiatives, with onsite work five days a week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 services and enterprise messaging solutions.
• Administer and support Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange environments.
• Develop and deploy new business solutions using Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID and Intune administration.
• Implement and maintain email security technologies (Proofpoint, Mimecast, EOP).
• Configure and support Defender for Office 365 and threat protections.
• Manage mail flow, transport rules, quarantine policies, and compliance requirements.
• Develop PowerShell automation to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to identify automation and AI opportunities.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 / Exchange Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise messaging, collaboration, and AI-driven productivity solutions. This role will be responsible for managing Microsoft 365 environments, Exchange Online and Hybrid deployments, email security platforms, and emerging Microsoft AI technologies, including Copilot and Azure AI Foundry.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Microsoft messaging infrastructure, security, automation, and solution architecture, with a proven ability to build and deploy new enterprise solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, messaging engineering, or enterprise collaboration platforms.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange environments.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise email security solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying Microsoft 365-based solutions for business users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry and AI solution development.
• Experience with Power Automate and workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security and compliance capabilities.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for messaging, security, and collaboration services.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
