Job summary

Peoples Bank is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Analyst to support its six-month transformation project in Newton, NC. The role focuses on governance, security, compliance, and user adoption across Microsoft 365 services.

You will collaborate with IT and business units to establish best practices for SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Purview, Copilot, and Power Platform, ensuring secure and well-managed environments and knowledge transfer to admin staff.

Qualifications

• Required: 3+ years of Microsoft 365 administration or consulting experience.
• Required: Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including development of governance and security frameworks.

Responsibilities

The Microsoft 365 Analyst supports the next phase of Peoples Bank's Microsoft 365 transformation during a six-month contract engagement. The analyst works closely with IT and business units to help the Bank fully leverage Microsoft 365 capabilities while ensuring proper governance, security, compliance, user adoption, and administrative knowledge transfer. The role establishes best practices for SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and related services the Bank determines beneficial, with a focus on problem remediation, security configuration reviews, governance, training, and standards for a secure, well-managed environment.

Qualifications: Education and Experience

• Required: 3+ years of Microsoft 365 administration or consulting experience.


• Required: Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including development of governance and security frameworks.


• Preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert; Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate.


• Preferred: SharePoint Administrator and financial institution experience; experience supporting Microsoft Copilot deployments, Microsoft Security and Compliance Center, and data retention and records management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, governance, security, and compliance practices.
