Job summary

Versiti Blood Research Institute (VBRI) in Milwaukee seeks a motivated Student Assistant to support the Microscopy Core’s daily operations. You will assist with routine microscope maintenance, organize the facility, and contribute to administrative tasks under the Microscopy Core staff guidance.

You will gain hands-on experience with fluorescence microscopy, image acquisition, and analysis, tailoring responsibilities to your interests and strengths in a collaborative research setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a health-related discipline, communications, or business.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support including filing, data entry and handling customer requests.
• Prepares presentations for company leaders.
• Helps identify opportunities for process efficiency and collaborates with teams.
• Assists with analysis and resolution of department issues and special projects.
• Performs other duties as required while complying with regulatory and SOP requirements.
