Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for its South Carolina facility. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoot controls, and ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires reading control diagrams, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following the Job Safety & Health Analysis (JSHA) procedures. Strong communication and basic math skills are essential.

Primary Duties:Performelectricalmaintenance onfacility and all plant production/support equipment.Perform mechanical maintenance on Plant HVAC equipment.Functional knowledge of all equipment controls, safety circuits, and electrical operations.Troubleshoot and diagnose machine orequipmentelectrical issues and repair as needed.Run conduit and wire equipment.

Tools Required:Hand and power tools, all shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, band saw, pipe threader, welder, etc.), Company issued lock out/tag out, OSHA approved air nozzle for compressed air, respirator, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, test meter, all mobile equipment , & ear plugs.

Materials Used:Lubricants,chemicals, filter media,wire,metals, wood, plastic, glass.

Supervision Exercised:None; receives instructions fromMaintenance Crew Leader.

Job Procedures:

1. Follow all established Plantand JobSpecificSafety rules.
2. Must be certified in Limestone's Powered Industrial Trucks training.
3. Responsible for general electricalmaintenanceincluding butnot limited to facilityelectrical and production equipment electrical maintenance.
4. Responsible for operation of various shop equipment including lathes, milling machines, welders, cutting torch, pipe threader, and various saws.
5. Functional knowledgeof electrical maint. & troubleshooting required, as well as safe work practices.
6. Experience in A/C and D/C controls and motorsrequired.
7. Verify/record temperature & relative humidity readings at all stations at assigned intervals.
8. Make adjustments tocontrols, supply grills, ducts, valves, and other equipment tomaintainspecified temperature and relative humidity requirements.
9. Maintain, change and/or clean filter media in the filter houses and air washers.
10. Check functional operation of all assigned equipment at assigned intervals.
11. Check andmaintainwater treatment chemicals (if assigned).
12. Change or adjust fan belts as needed tomaintainproper operation of fan units.
13. Clean air conditioning and cooling equipment.
14. Maintain, change, and/or repair pumps and motors as needed.
15. Maintain housekeeping and organization of materials in the assigned work area.
16. Work on special projects as requested by management.
17. Advisemanagement of any items that need to be ordered tomaintainor repair Plant equipment.
18. Perform all other duties as directed by management.

Minimum Job Requirements: Musthavepreviouselectricalmaintenance experience,preferably textile related, including greige manufacturing.Mustbe able to read/write& havegood communicationskills.Basic math & computer skillsrequired.Must be able to lift/move loads up to 50 pounds. Job requires frequent climbingofsteps/ladders, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling.Must be able to read controldiagrams.

Competency testing may be required.Must be cleared by Occupational Nursefor vision and color vision.

Follow all SafetyRules,andcomply withthe Job Safety & HealthAnalysis (JSHA).All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mustbe used as required.Any accident ornear miss must be reportedimmediately.
