Locations: Houston, TX or Mandeville, LA

The Opportunity

We’re expanding our US-based technical team and are seeking an experienced Micropaleontologist to join us in either Houston, TX or Mandeville, LA. This role follows our acquisition of Paleo-Data (New Orleans) in 2021.

You’ll work in both office and offshore rig environments, conducting analytical work, integrating data, and producing reports. Offshore training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct micropaleontological analysis in office and wellsite settings
  2. Integrate data and contribute to multi-scale geological studies
  3. Collaborate with international teams on regional and reservoir-scale projects
  4. Support CCUS and energy transition initiatives
  5. Travel offshore as required (training provided)

Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree in Geoscience with a focus on Micropaleontology
  2. Offshore medical certification (or willingness to obtain)
  3. Experience with planktic and calcareous benthic foraminifera is a plus
  4. Legally authorized to work in the United States
