Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a Micro-cleaner to maintain cleanroom and GMP lab environments in San Diego, CA. This part-time role runs Thursday to Sunday evenings, 7:00pm–11:00pm. Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, following cGMP guidelines, and documenting procedures with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and strong attention to detail, safety, and confidentiality. Training in cGMP and safety procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines.
• Continually monitor the cleanroom cleaning procedures to ensure all cleanings are completed promptly and correctly.
• Participate in continuous training: cGMP training, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Detail document control (using Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Micro-cleaning all surfaces within the controlled environment including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
• Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
• Review changes to cGMP documentation and re-train.
• Assist in cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Maintain confidentiality.
