Microbulk Service Technician

Location: Billerica, MA

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking aMicrobulk Service Technicianto join our team!The Microbulk Service Technician is responsible for tank repair, maintaining and removing all types of gaseous, cryogenic and propane storage units. The Microbulk Service Technician will interact with project manager, sales, customers, contractors, engineers, and inspectors regarding installation/maintenance at the customer's site.

Pay Range: $27.51 - $40.35, depending on experience.

Responsibilities (1st Shift)

• Frequently travels to customer sites to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on Microbulk units


• Diagnose problems, failures, and identifies replacement needs


• Repairs various items, systems and/or components of Microbulk units


• Ensures equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are complete


• Performs routine and preventive maintenance for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of equipment


• Request's equipment and supplies to complete the necessary installation/repair


• Manages inventory and shipping of parts to other Technicians in the region


• Arranges shipment of tanks to meet job schedule


• May require both planned and unplanned overnight travel


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required


• Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude a plus


• Experience pipefitting and brazing a plus


• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required


• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years


• Must be able/willing to travel (overnight travel required)
