Job summary

Qualifications

• MSc in microbiology or related field with 1–2 years of experience, or BSc with 3–5 years.
• Hands-on microbiome techniques including anaerobic culture and molecular methods.
• Experience with sequencing and basic data analysis in R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute laboratory research on the role of the microbiome in human health.
• Perform microbial culturing, DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, and sequencing.
• Help develop and optimize assays for microbiome/host interaction studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microbiome data with other omics.
• Maintain records, analyze data, and contribute to internal reports and publications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Assist with general lab maintenance as needed.
