Job summary

HCA Healthcare Laboratory Services in Florida is seeking a Core Laboratory Supervisor for a 9PM–7:30AM shift. You will supervise lab personnel, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality and patient satisfaction across the core laboratory operations.

The role involves payroll, scheduling, and resource management to meet department goals. The ideal candidate holds a Medical Technology degree, 5+ years as a Medical Technologist, and a Florida Supervisor License (or ability to obtain) to lead

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Florida Supervisor License in all 5 specialty areas or ability to obtain.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Core Laboratory Supervisor to provide expertise and champion results. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do.

You Will:

Supervise technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.

Supervise personnel, processes, service levels, regulatory compliance, and service levels in assigned areas. Functional areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to technical discipline areas in which department is licenses, specimen collection, specimen processing and specimen referral testing

Responsible for achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities in areas of responsibility.

Demonstrates skill required to supervise, teach and motivate staff

Review and approve payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, check requests, and scheduling requests

You Should Have:

4 year Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required

5 years' experience as a Medical Technologist

State of Florida Supervisor License in all 5 specialty areas or the ability to obtain
