Job summary

Becton Dickinson is seeking a QA Laboratory professional in Utah to support microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and sterilization assurance. The role ensures product quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance through accurate documentation and adherence to GMP and GDP.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with potential overtime as needed. Responsibilities include EO sterilization testing, GC-FID residual analysis, aseptic handling of cultures, data investigation,

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related STEM field.
Bachelor's degree in STEM with laboratory/regulated industry experience also eligible.
Strong attention to detail with ability to document and analyze data.
Ability to work safely in lab and cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, finished products, and manufacturing environments.
Conduct environmental monitoring in classified cleanrooms and GMP areas.
Support sterilization assurance programs and EO sterilization testing.
Perform EO/ECH residual testing using GC-FID on terminally sterilized devices.
Aseptically handle microbial cultures and samples and maintain documentation.
Investigate results, analyze data, and prepare technical reports.
Create and maintain SOPs and lab forms.
Ensure equipment readiness and maintain supplies; comply with GMP/GDP and safety rules.
