Job summary

Nestlé USA in Dublin, OH is offering a Summer 2027 Microbiology Quality Technician Internship. You will support the NQAC Dublin team, perform sample processing and analyses, and help maintain QA documentation under supervision.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, safety, and collaboration within a fast-paced laboratory environment. Rising juniors or seniors with basic microbiology coursework are preferred; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Relevant coursework or 1 year of practical lab experience preferred.
• Rising junior or senior preferred.
• Microbiology, biology, biochemistry or related STEM majors preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide support to lab by coordinating multiple processes.
• Register and prepare samples for analytical testing.
• Preps and performs routine to complex analyses per NQAC methods.
• Reads and records results with correct sample IDs.
• Operates basic lab equipment (balances, pH meter, autoclave).
• Support QA documents, plans and ICPs and report data.
• Maintain equipment in working order and assist with repairs.
• Participate in Lean Laboratory initiatives.
