Traditional Medicinals, Inc. Sebastopol, CA is seeking a QC Analyst I (Microbiology) to perform routine microbiological, physical and chemical testing on ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

The role maintains GMP documentation, supports investigations, and contributes to cross-functional quality activities. The candidate will follow established procedures, work with lab equipment, and communicate findings clearly in writing and verbally.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, food science or related field.
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience in quality control or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of chemical laboratory techniques including moisture and ash.
• Familiarity with GMP documentation and regulated lab environments.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to follow written procedures and document results clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Carry out moisture, ash, sieves, and essential oil determinations.
• Collect samples from warehouse locations for testing.
• Conduct environmental monitoring swabbing and report results.
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and maintain it.
• Document out-of-specification investigations and non-conforming results.
• Review GMP docs and SOPs, and update forms as needed.
• Support lab operations and participate in cross-functional quality projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper glassware handling in the lab.
• Attend team and cross-functional meetings.
