Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for the second shift in our fast-paced laboratory. You will perform testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology to support inpatient and outpatient care.

We welcome newly graduated Medical Laboratory Science students and require a Bachelor or an Associate degree with certification within one year of hire; prior experience in high complexity testing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required.
• Must become certified within one year of hire.
• Previous work experience in high complexity testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology.
• Work in a fast-paced automated laboratory with short turnaround times.
• Newly graduated Med Tech/Lab students welcome to apply.
