Job summary

Qualifications

• MS in Microbiology or Biological Sciences; PhD preferred.
• Undergraduate teaching experience preferred; GA teaching experience considered.
• Proficient with laboratory equipment and aseptic technique; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Introduction to Microbiology.
• Coordinate laboratories for Microbiology, Bacterial Physiology, Pathogenic Microbiology, and Biochemistry.
• Lab setup and cleanup; media preparation; microorganisms and solutions; equipment/chemical ordering and maintenance.
• Train and supervise undergraduate/graduate students and staff.
• Provide research support to faculty in the Department.
