Job summary

Harba Solutions Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Associate to perform routine microbiological testing, prepare samples and reagents, and support environmental monitoring. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to SOPs, and meticulous record-keeping.

You will work with a collaborative team, contribute to GLP/GMP compliance, and help troubleshoot testing discrepancies. A biology or life sciences degree and some lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a life science field preferred.
• Some laboratory experience or coursework beneficial.
• Familiarity with microbiological techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain records.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing on samples using SOPs.
• Prepare samples, culture media, reagents, and materials for testing.
• Conduct microbial enumeration and environmental monitoring.
• Assist with sterility testing and microorganism identification.
• Accurately record results and enter data into LIMS.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean work area.
• Follow GLP/GMP and safety requirements.
• Review results for accuracy and assist with discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team to meet testing deadlines.
