Cordis, LLC, based in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Microbiology Technician I to support routine microbiology work and environmental monitoring at the Irvine site. The role emphasizes endotoxin testing, cleanroom sampling, and rigorous documentation under cGMP/GDP and ISO 13485 standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, inspection-ready operations and maintain equipment, supplies, and records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient Word and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and micropipette use.
• Familiarity with cGMP and GDP.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work day shift with occasional weekends.

Responsabilités

• Perform Lot Release Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET) and testing for applicable protocols.
• Perform environmental sampling within a Class 8 cleanroom.
• Apply aseptic and micropipette techniques.
• Support cleanroom monitoring activities and related projects.
• Assist with equipment qualifications and test method qualifications.
• Comply with ISO 13485 procedures and site-wide procedures.
• Maintain laboratory documentation in support of quality and regulatory requirements.
• Review and enter environmental monitoring data.
• Maintain laboratory equipment records and related documentation.
• Perform general administrative activities (scanning and filing).
• Ensure laboratory records are organized and maintained.
