You will be responsible for accepting samples, preparing media, conducting microbiological and chemical analyses, and evaluating results of raw material and finished product samples. Your role will also include performing shelf life studies, as well as microbiological, chemical, and sensory analyses on various materials. You will be required to conduct a range of microbiological tests and create Certificates of Analysis. Collaboration with the Research and Development team is essential for developing shelf life studies and setting up new products.

Responsibilities

• Accept and prepare samples for analysis.
• Prepare media for microbiological testing.
• Conduct microbiological and chemical analyses on raw materials and finished products.
• Evaluate results and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Perform shelf life studies and sensory analyses.
• Conduct microbiological testing including APC, Coliforms, E.coli, Yeasts & Mold, Sulphite Reducing Bacteria, Streptococcus, and Bacillus Cereus.
• Create Certificates of Analysis for tested samples.
• Collaborate with R&D for developing and setting up new products.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a microbiology lab or similar environment.
• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field.
  
  

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
