Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician for an evening shift (Mon-Fri, with some weekends) to support sample intake, data entry, and testing in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires a high school diploma plus AS/BS in microbiology or related fields; plating and sample prep experience is preferred. Attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field; experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.

Responsibilities

• Register incoming samples and maintain a neat, accurate record system for quality control tests.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately and timely.
• Complete laboratory testing on all samples to meet turnaround goals.
• Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain safety and clean work environment and comply with ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC requirements.
