Mass General Brigham seeks a Microbiology Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the microbiology laboratory. The role includes staff orientation, training, competency assessments, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

The position offers an evening shift (12PM-8:30PM or 3PM-11:30PM) with a starting pay of $43.00 hourly and room to grow with experience. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences and ASCP certification.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences required.
• ASCP certification required (MLT/MT/MLA/Histologists).
• Lab experience 3–5 years required; supervisory experience 1–2 years preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides daily supervision of technical, clerical, and service employees.
• Plans, organizes, delineates, and schedules duties and responsibilities of laboratory staff.
• Assists other technologists with technical problems and interpretation of results.
• Determines the priority of work and ensures timely completion.
• Maintains inventory and ensures compliance with safety policies and SOPs.
