Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Microbiology Analyst I in Hanover, MD, to analyze environmental water samples using standard EPA methods. The role requires attention to GMP/GLP practices, data entry into LIMS, and maintaining lab equipment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm, full-time with compensation based on experience ($18–$22/hour). The ideal candidate has a biological degree (or microbiology credits), strong English, and the ability to work independently or in a team,

Qualifications

• Biological degree preferred with microbiology coursework.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic micro lab techniques and prepare media/cultures.
• Analyze environmental water samples using EPA methods.
• Enter data into LIMS daily and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment (incubators, water baths, refrigerators).
• Assist in writing, reviewing, and editing reports and SOPs.
