Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Hanover, MD is seeking a Microbiology Analyst to support routine lab work with GMP/GLP practices. Compensation is based on experience, $18-22/hour, and the role requires commuting to the laboratory.

You'll perform basic microbiology techniques, detect target organisms, maintain records in GLP-compliant systems, operate and calibrate equipment, and contribute to report writing and data review. Full-time with weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Environmental Science or Biology-related degree is preferred, or a degree with a minimum of 4 credit hours of Microbiology.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility
• Perform basic microbiology lab techniques/analyses and prepare media/cultures, based on job function
• Enter data into LIMS computer system, and perform first level reviews of reported data
• Perform Quality Control testing as needed based on method requirements
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment (Incubators, water baths, refrigerators, thermometers, etc.)
• Prepare and wash laboratory glassware
