Job summary

CLENE NANOMEDICINE INC. is seeking a detail-oriented Micro Quality Control (Q/C) & Biology Analyst I or II to organize and perform testing activities with accuracy while managing workloads.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in microbiology/biology and 1–4 years of related experience. You will follow SOPs, GMP/GLP, and internal processes, ensuring timely, precise test data and collaboration with management on production issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology or related science.
  • 1–4 years of related lab experience.
  • Knowledge of USP testing procedures.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and GMP/GLP guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor testing activities.
  • Review and update work schedules to maintain testing cadence.
  • Review testing results for report accuracy.
  • Coordinate testing plans to ensure timely testing.
  • Plan usage of laboratory materials to optimize testing levels.
  • Collaborate with management on testing, quality, and production issues.
  • Track deadlines based on project expectations.
  • Gather, process, and analyze research and product data.
  • Assist in establishing SOPs for testing and equipment.
  • Help validate products and qualify technicians.
  • Ensure GMP/GLP equipment calibration and IOPQ is current.
  • Assist in acquisition/production of research-related materials.
  • Participate in research and microbiology testing.
  • Analyze and present research data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Position Summary

The Micro Quality Control (Q/C) & Biology Analyst I or II follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Test Methods (TSMs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and internal processes.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform and monitor testing activities.
  • Review and update work schedules to effectively maintain the testing schedule.
  • Review testing results to ensure report accuracy.
  • Coordinate testing plans to ensure materials are testing according to schedule.
  • Plan usage of laboratory materials to ensure optimal testing levels.
  • Work with management to address issues regarding testing, quality, and production.
  • Manage deadlines based on project expectations.
  • Track production and research to help predict future scheduling needs.
  • Gather, process, analyze, and share research and product test data.
  • Work with management to establish SOPs for testing, equipment, and laboratory procedures.
  • Work with management to establish test methods, validate products, and qualify technicians.
  • Ensure GMP/GLP equipment calibration and IOPQ (mapping) are current.
  • Assist in the acquisition and/or production, if required, of research-related materials.
  • Work with management to design and enact research procedures.
  • Participate in research and/or microbiology testing.
  • Analyze and present research data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology/biology, or another related science field preferred.
Experience
  • One (1) to four (4) years' experience in a related field.

Equivalent combinations of education and relevant laboratory experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Exceptional analytical skill set and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of USP testing procedures and FDS regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels.
Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
Compensation

$23 - $30 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
