Job summary

Persona AI, Inc. is seeking a Micro Precision Assembler in Houston, TX. This full-time, onsite role focuses on fine-motor bench assembly in a harsh, precision-driven environment, building the robot’s hands.

You will work under ESD discipline and model relentless attention to detail while producing modules that meet strict specs. You will assemble small mechanisms, route drive tendons, and torque tiny fasteners with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must have fine-motor precision work experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Comfort with precision measuring tools and following documented processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finger, thumb, and wrist mechanisms from engineering drawings—small components and assemblies.
• Route and pre-tension drive tendons and cables to specification.
• Assemble miniature gearheads and small actuator units, keeping matched sets together.
• Torque miniature fasteners with calibrated low-range torque drivers in newton-centimeters.
• Apply adhesives, thread lockers, and lubricants in controlled quantities; install seals and covers.
• Record build data and verify hands meet acceptance criteria using precision gauges.
