Job summary

Violet Health is seeking a part-time Medical Director to provide clinical leadership, quality assurance, and expert medical advice across cross-functional teams. The role balances clinical and administrative duties with flexible hours and requires Michigan residency.

The position emphasizes governance, policy development, and collaboration with operations and product teams to ensure adherence to standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine.
• Board Certification in a relevant field (Family/Internal/Urgent Care or related).
• 5+ years of clinical practice; 2+ years in leadership or supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic clinical governance and medical oversight for Violet Health’s programs, policies, and care management protocols.
• Lead chart reviews, audit clinical practices, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Mentor and serve as a clinical consultant for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and allied staff.
• Design, update, and approve clinical guidelines and evidence-based medical policies.
• Partner with operations, product, and leadership to integrate clinical SOPs across functions.
